Phocus Scientific Event was held in Faculty of Pharmacy, South Valley University 2022.
On its third successive anniversary, Phocus is back and it shines again. Our talk is mainly about research and oncology pharmacy, with three rich scientific lectures, starting with:
In addition to the unique workshops, including laboratory investigation and how to gather scientific information. These lectures and workshops were provided by a group of pharmacists and doctors who are experts in the field. Including Dr. Abdel Salam Supervisor of Clinical Pharmacy at Shefaa Al-Orman Hospital, and Dr. Mohamed Wahman, Head of the Department of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at South Valley University.
The inauguration of PHocus was on the 8th of May, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abu Al-Wafa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hosny, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, as well as Dr. Abdel Fattah Hassan, Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Academic Supervisor of the EPSF at South Valley University.
It is worth mentioning that PHocus is one of the most powerful scientific events that is carried out by the EPSF and sheds light on the most prominent areas and gives the student a greater opportunity to overwhelm them, through scientific lectures and workshops, in addition to competitions, which include valuable prizes.
This year, PHocus is sponsored by the MARS (Medical Agency for Research and Statistics), 57357 Hospital, as well as many scientific and medical organizations.
The EPSF is the largest and oldest entity that includes pharmacy students in Egypt, as it includes 37 universities and more than 5,000 pharmacy students. The union was established in 1982 with the aim of serving the community and pharmacy students in Egypt.
